On some R&R (Relax and Reading that is)
So I decided to stay home today and simply relax and pick up on some reading...and ladies for me there’s nothing quite more relaxing than catching up on some good ol'fashion reading...

My YSL ring is here!
It’s here, my YSL ring that I ordered a week ago is here! I wasn’t sure which colour to get since this particular ring comes in like 12 stone colours…I decided on black. Simply because it’d go with so many different outfits…totally in love with it!

Oh Ramadan!
So we’re coming down to the last few days of Ramadan…and I have to say it has gone by much faster than I imaged it would. But one thing that I’m rather surprised about is that breaking our fast at 8:30ish was a lot easier than I thought it would be, Alhamduliallah! I love Ramadan, it brings about it a sense of peace and warmth in my heart that instantly increases my Imaan. Its an amazing feeling and I never want it to leave...

On Good Food…
So last night my hubby and I went out to this amazing Tunisian restaurant down on the Danforth called " Djerba la Douce" and needless to say the food was amazing! I’m generally one of those “open-to-anything” people when it comes to food but I know good food when it hits my taste buds! I took a few pics of the place to share with my fellow bloggers! Upon arriving, we immediately felt the warm inviting feeling, which in my opinion is generally only felt from small family run restaurants which make you feel so welcome and at home. Unlike those over the top, loud and excessively busy places we’re use to in downtown Toronto (especially on a Saturday night!)
While being seated, I began to notice the resturants exceptional care for detail, the interior design(which you will come to notice is my number two area of interest after fashion design) was authentic to the Tunisian culture- the light fixtures delicate and the colours warm and intricate.
Well, here are some pictures from that night. Hope you enjoy! As well, if you’re ever in the Danforth area and are craving a home-made meal with mouth-watering flavor, Djerba la Douce is your place!

| Although I'm generally a coffee-lover, this mint tea sure won me over! Totally worth the try! |

Fashion Trend 2011: Color Blocking
COLOR BLOCKING is the latest trend to be taking us by storm! I haven’t quite made up my mind on what I think of it…well other than that purple and burnt orange are my new fav colour combo! I recently picked up a burnt orange maxi skirt from forever21 which I’m planning on wearing very soon (I'll let you know what i decide to pair it up with) I’m loving the accented gold paired with this colour combo! Let me know if you guys have tried colour blocking this spring/summer!
