Fashion Trend 2011: Color Blocking

COLOR BLOCKING is the latest trend to be taking us by storm! I haven’t quite made up my mind on what I think of it…well other than that purple and burnt orange are my new fav colour combo! I recently picked up a burnt orange maxi skirt from forever21 which I’m planning on wearing very soon (I'll let you know what i decide to pair it up with) I’m loving the accented gold paired with this colour combo! Let me know if you guys have tried colour blocking this spring/summer!

With the beautiful weather we've been having lately this is a sure summer look! Light colours are always a sure go this time of year. Totally loving the white maxi skirt- light weight - easy breezy! I just picked one up on Friday from H&M (their having a crazy sale so if you haven’t had the chance to stop by you should defiantly hurry in!)

After spending a lot of time browsing through many different fashion blogs I finally figured WHY NOT start my very own?

I mean I seriously love fashion and putting looks together, so naturally.... that will be the main focus of this blog. I’m always trying to construct looks that are both fashion forward and Hijabi friendly, I’ll try to illustrate through out this blog how one could take the current fashion trends using a keen sense of style and technique  and very meticulously put together a modest version of the same look.
